Soda Can

Every state of mind has a rhythm; calm, focus, stress, fatigue. HALO listens to those rhythms and translates them into insight. This is human precision, engineered.

Inspired by the enigmatic allure of ravens and the sharp precision of technology, this project explores the balance between dark, sleek visuals and user-centric design.

Problem

Synexis as the Future of Cognitive Wellness

The future of wellness isn’t about doing more; it’s about knowing yourself better. Synexis brings neuroscience out of the lab and into everyday life, starting with HALO, a neural band that listens to your brainwaves and reflects your inner world back to you. When your mind becomes visible, every decision becomes more intentional.

The goal was to create a science-driven, futuristic, and human-centered identity for Synexis and design a consumer-facing EEG device built around clarity, calm, and cognitive insight.

This project blends industrial design, branding, motion, copywriting, and visual direction into one unified system.

One of the most important parts of this project was turning brainwave science into a design asset.

Waveform System

Each brainwave frequency has its own visual rhythm:

Delta (0.5–4 Hz) — slow, rolling clarity

Theta (4–8 Hz) — intuitive, creative

Alpha (8–12 Hz) — calm, relaxed alertness

Beta (12–40 Hz) — fast, focused, active

I used these patterns to build brand pattern, poster graphics, UI inspiration, and motion cues.

To bring HALO to life, I created a short video showing the device rotating, assembling, and syncing with neural waves.

The animation direction borrowed from clean product cinematics.
